Yeah, but if you voluntarily hand your information over to a 3rd party, they keep it for a legitimate business purpose and then they privately decide to look at it more deeply… you’ve no right to privacy. Stop assuming FANG companies care about you. Stop trusting them.

We need to pick our battles. Better the 4th Amendment is strengthened wrt actual warrantless government information collection mandates (like the Bank Secrecy Act) than it start extending to behavior of private parties who we shouldn’t be trusting with our data to begin with.
