Ubisoft to pull online from older games, which also takes away your DLC

Ubisoft has announced that they will decommission the online features for several older games, starting from September 1st. The affected games include Anno 2070, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, Driver San Francisco, Far Cry 3, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Silent Hunter 5, Space Junkies, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. This move aims to focus resources on newer or more popular titles, while also raising concerns about the preservation of older games and the impact of NFTs in the gaming industry.
