I’m Esteban Ordano, Argentinian, but these days I’m based in Uruguay, interested in self-hosted AI inference, reproducible systems (NixOS), and building tools that respect their users. I care about privacy, how technology and infrastructure shape society, and I’m obsessed about how to reduce the false positives and false negatives of tradition.

I grew up competing in math, chemistry and CS olympiads, and studied software engineering at ITBA. I spent two summers interning at Google, then joined BitPay, working on the open-source Bitcore. I co-founded a company that eventually became OpenZeppelin, and Decentraland, a virtual world owned by its users, built on Ethereum.
